So there was just a blood and teeth campaign that just this wednesday. Being the civic conscious person that i am, i only felt it was my duty to impart on the needy, the life blood that courses through my veins

I was making my way to the foyer where the blood donation was being held and was about to climb up the stairs when a guy stopped me in my tracks and said i could not donate.

By the way, you cant donate if you :
    have been taking meds or having flu
    have a medical condition,   
    have STDs , AIDS,

but i had the most severe condition that prevented me from being able to donate,all because…

            " You tak boleh derma. Kena pakai seluar panjang baru boleh.         
                            Ini peraturan. "

This is the best reason for not saving a life - because i’m not properly dressed to save a life. Like that how to save a life?

I recently had the chance to try out some Korean goodies that came in a goodie bag.. ( ya.. duh.. cos only goodies come in goodie bagsrite? )

Korean’s also have this snack of seaweed seasoned with salt and guess what… it tastes the same to me. Another friend told me he tried it as in the picture and said it tasted quite good. Hmm.

That’s the seaweed in the packet. Quite a small packet but its tastey. Ilike to eat seaweed in this form but haven’t had it in a while. I had no rice to go with it and didn’t want to eat it with noodles.

So how ar? . . .

Eat like that and pretend i had it with rice lor…

To be honest, i like the original ’superwoman’ by Kayrn White.

Ya, it sounds gay and so unmanly-ish-like but its true. Much to my horror, this guy called Gary came up with a funked-up, updated version of the song. It was loathe at first hearing but its the sort of song that is like algae. It sort of grows on you after awhile and you’ll learn to appreciate how green and fuzzy it is.

I know there are probably lots of people that love how his falsetto and think that he’s a great singer and i’ve have nothing against him. I was, however, surprised to see how he looks like in real life.

I caught an episode of ‘ wo chai’ and found him to be a very paiseh kinda guy. In an article here, he’s been told not to reveal his face because he’s not entau enough. Kinda sad hor? imagine someone telling you that you don’t cut it just because you’re not  good looking enough… ( but of cos not in a model search la…then its so duh rite? )

So i was on the way back from the jungle and the original song was playing on the radio and my friend told me as i was mouthing the words, ‘ wah… you know the song hor.. ‘  and he continued " i only know the chinese 1 la… ‘

I guess most people would know Chao Ge’s version rather than the original version but its ok becausei think he did justice to the song… i think…
As a certified banana, its hard to tell what he’s singing about hor.. but his story is one of endurance and that it doesn’t matter if u ain’t got the looks as long as u got them tools...know whud im saaeeyin?

Lately have been very busy, having not much time to gather thoughts nor finding the pix to blog.

Just finished 2 tests, which didn’t go too well despite knowing how to do. Time is a funny thing; it goes slower for those who are free& bored, but zipz past for those who are occupied & stressed.

For me, it has been the latter for the past 2 weeks, and probably for the upcoming weeks as well. Next week i have a clean schedule, but when i start to think about having a clean week, the fact that i have a Bible Quiz  on wed and a trip to Kulim on the weekend makes me worry about the following week in which 3 tests wait for me. ( Ok ..that was really a long sentence )

When i came back this week, i felt troubled in my heart. For those who know me well, going back to the island was a no-brainer. Just hop aboard the 1st ride back. This week however i went back not as excited as i usually would. I knew i have things to see to in Pg but somehow i felt i was missing the jungle. Coupled that with the fact that there was an industrial visit and that Max said they needed a guitarist for the weekend.

Perhaps its not really a no-brainer after all. Sui ying told me she wasnt driving back.. which meant getting a ride back to campus would be though. For me it was either Nick’s dad or Pei ying… hmm.. not an easy choice this ( really ..its not as easy as it seems)

The past week made me realize how much i missed CF due to other commitments, how i missed my 1st love, how i missed the fellowship and the yumcha sessions. Anyway i got to learn a new song , at least to me la, " Everlasting God " by Chris Tomlin which was quite a nice song which reminded me to wait upon the Lord and that He helps us when we are down and we need the strength that comes only from Him.Thanks Pui mun!!

My my..seems like i’ve outdone myself this time.
I’ll leave with a quote i recalled :
