Eh why is is that non ipoh people go to ipoh they will want to eat ‘nga choy kai’ ? I’m speaking on my own behalf la actually.
I had NCK on tuesday with my friend and he told me:
my friend : ‘ Actually most of the people you see here are not from ipoh ‘
me : " why leh ?"
my friend :’ Ipoh people sure won’t eat NCK becasue it’s so expensive ‘
‘ Anyway i tell my non ipoh friends that nga choy kai is just that.. nga choy and
kai… nothing special 1′
me : " /swt "
Which is true cos when the bill came for the both of us it amounted to rm14. And another thing is the drinks are prepared then served in carriers… so its just a choice of ’sem boey ais’ or ‘ lo han kuo ‘ or ‘ bali ‘ … hmm.. perhaps its for the benefit of those who cant seem to be able to make up their minds…
After having a hearty meal of chicken. taugeh and pork balls we went to a pasar malam near Jusco.
" eh haven’t seen you in a long time leh. lei tim ar? "
You have to trust me when i tell you that pasar malam is like 1 whole huge St Micheal gathering la.. everywhere also my friend was bumping into those ex school mates.

There was this stall selling ‘ Salt Baked Chicken’
Is there such a stall in pg ar? how come i never see before 1ar?
The chicken is so good selling that i had to wait 20 minutes for the next batch to be ready and it actually sold out within 5 minutes and the seller was preparing the next batch liao..
Hmm… the chicken is wraped in paper and roasted in rock salt. It was kinda salty… and oily…
but over all very nice la.. rm4 for 1 peha… not bad la.
My friend brought me to this shop that sells NOTHING BUT SALT BAKED CHICKEN~
wow… nice la… the chicken is like fat free 1… and when u open the packaging u can smell all the spices..hmm.. making me lau nua liao lah.
rm15 gets you 1 whole bird and also a chop. Collect 10 chops and u get yourself a free bird… not bad at all..
ok lah.. till my next "yim kok kai"
